[Fix] How to Enable IDM Extension in Latest Chrome Version

You need to press on Chrome menu, select “More tools” menu item and then select “Extensions” tab. Ensure that the “Developer mode” checkbox in the top right-hand corner is checked. After this open IDM installation folder (“C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager” by default and drag and drop “IDMGCExt.crx” file into “Extensions” page opened in your Chrome (“Drop to install” popup will appear while dragging over the “Extensions” page). Please note that file may be named simply IDMGCExt if your Windows Explorer does not show file extensions.
