Citizens of European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) countries or Switzerland studying in an international Bachelor’s and Master’s Programme at the University of Oulu are not required to pay tuition fees.

Tuition Fee
Tuition Fees for foreign students range between 8,000 and 12,000 euros per academic year depending on the programme.
Scholarship
The scholarships will be granted in the form of a tuition fee waiver covering 50% or 75% or 100% of the tuition fee after the first study year.
Cost of Living
In Finland, you will need between 700 – 900 EUR/month, depending on the area in which you will live. Helsinki is the most expensive city, while Laaperanta and Tampere are known as the most affordable cities for student accommodation.
