Documents to be Provided from Japan
- Guarantee Letter (J-01): Signed and sealed letter of guarantee (Annex 01)
- Reason for Invitation Letter (J-02): Signed and sealed letter of reason for invitation (Annex 02)
- Visit Schedule (J-03): Original schedule of your visit to Japan (Annex 03)
Documents to be Provided from Pakistan
- Photo (P-01): One recent photograph with light background, front face, and bare head
- Passport (P-02): Original valid passport (and expired passports, if any)
- CNIC (P-03): Original identity card with photocopy
- Bank Documents (P-06): Attested bank statement for the last 6 months with bank manager’s letter
- Family Registration (P-07): For applicants under 18, Form B with English translation duly attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan
- Occupational Evidence (P-08): Original and authentic evidence of your present occupation
- Airline Booking (P-09): All Sectors confirmed both sides airline booking for the trip to Japan issued by travel agent (please do not buy ticket)
Additional Information
- Submit visa applications in person at the embassy between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
- Incomplete applications may not be accepted
- Sign the application form yourself and write in block letters in black ink
- Contact the visa section for information on Certificate of Eligibility
- The embassy may request additional documents
- Residents of Sind and Baluchistan must apply at the Consulate General of Japan, Karachi
- Submitting required documents does not guarantee visa issuance
- Visa refusal reasons will not be provided, but a new application can be submitted after six months
