These are, of course, 10 of the most expensive states in which to live. BTW, you will need to live and work in huge metro areas to score these scales!
Rabble says
You’ve clearly never been to rural Nevada or any part of Missouri….. Or you skimmed the list. Several of the most expensive states aren’t on here

Is this only private agencies, or does this include public agencies?
Brian Dressler says
ok, so is the above scale for EMT’s or Paramedics/ A world of difference in skills and pays. And if they are talking about the top being 45,200….that is WAY less than I make as a Paramedic in PA….
Dowra says
I have to move to PA then. Unless its Philly, wouldn’t live there for 150,000.
blucher52 says
Are these based on fire/paremedic only. I know paramedics in Nevada and they make nowhere near these wages.
Divemedic says
The listed pay for Nevada is about $74,500 a year.
According to transparentnevada, which lists the pay of all public employees in the state, there are firefighter/paramedics making that kind of money, but most of them are making FAR below that. A base EMT is not anywhere near that.
