Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) Taunsa Sharif Campus
Taunsa Sharif a city of important Sufi shrines, is located on Indus Highway running across the mighty Indus River and at a distance of 450 km from Lahore. It derives its name from the most notable Sufi, Hazrat Muhammad Suleman Taounsvi. It is a tehsil of district Dera Ghazi Khan which has 90% literacy rate. It is easily approachable from all the surrounding areas by metalled roads. Taunsa is also the location of one of the frequently visited structures on the Indus Rover called Taunsa Barrage which is about 20 km south of Taunsa city.
