Pakistan Medical & Dental Council ( PM&DC) has issued a new updated admission policy for MBBS/BDS for session 2019-20.
The criteria for MBBS and BDS admissions throughout the country has been changed. The 10% matriculation marks have been removed from the weightage of entry test aggregate. According to the new formula of marks aggregate, only F.Sc ( Eq) and Provincial entry test will be counted of admissions.
F.Sc ( and eq) and Entry Test will carry 50% marks each.
Minimum 60% marks will be required to qualify for admission. Students with aggregate below 70% in Entry Test and F.Sc (or eq) will not be eligible for admission to any medical college.
Entry Test Marks shrunk to 200 instead of 1100 marks previously.
The 200 Questions will comprise of :
Biology : 80
Chemistry : 60
Physics : 40
English : 20
Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking in entry test.
